Yamanakako - Take a white swan-shaped tour boat to tour Yamanakako or soak in Yamanakako hot springs (about 70 minutes, please pay for the boat ride or hot springs separately).
Lake Yamanaka is the only lake in the Fuji Five Lakes that has a natural river flowing out. It is also the largest and deepest lake (only 13.3 meters) among the five lakes. Mount Fuji, which can be seen from Lake Yamanaka, has long ridges on both sides that look very charming. In Japan, swans are referred to as white birds. Every February to April, swans come here to lay eggs and give birth even in the coldest weather. Because tourists often feed the swans, they sometimes swim here to get close to tourists, hence the name "Lake of White Birds. On June 22, 2013, it was designated a World Cultural Heritage site as part of "Mount Fuji - the object of faith and the source of art.
Lake Yamanaka sightseeing boat "Shiratori Lake (Swan Lake)"
The 25-minute round trip provides a leisurely opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Yamanaka and Mt. Fuji.
The boat is shaped like a beautiful swan, similar to the concept of "Japan's most beautiful swan floating on the Yamanaka Lake at the foot of Japan's largest Mt. Fuji. It has won numerous awards and was designed by Japan's representative designer, Mitooka Eiji. The graceful and lovely white bird moving on the lake.
Oak wood is used to create the boat's interior, taking advantage of its grain texture. The soft design with curves creates a comfortable space for relaxation, evoking a sense of warmth.
To ensure the children have a happy boat ride, the Shiratoriko has special seats for them, telescopes that allow the captain's experience, and observation seats with steering wheels. The boat is full of elaborate designs, which is one of its defining features. While aboard the Yamanakako cruise ship, you can also experience the precious experience of contacting wild swans by purchasing feed for 100 yen per bag at the boarding station.

Fantastic, varied and great value experience. Our host was friendly as well as helpful and knowledgeable
The guide was great. She contacted us to let us know she will be arriving soon for our pick up. Was knowledgeable about area and had friendly personality. Unfortunately was a cloudy day but still was very pleasant tour. Tour was reasonably priced. The lunch was great. Would recommend to friends if they are looking for a day trip to Mt. Fuji
The tour was great and went smooth. Linda was a great tour guide that took care of everyone. She even called people who were late getting back to the bus. We all had lunch together and Linda took care of the arrangements which made eating at such a place stress free for people who can't speak Japanese. We did run into traffic on the way back but that was told to us in the beginning that it could happen.
Great tour, much more than we expected. Comfortable bus ride with very nice driver and tour guide. And we got to see Fuji
We had a beautiful day Suzan and Julia are very nice tour guides thank you girls, we were able to see the entire Mt Fuji
