Kinrin Lake. Finally, we visited the most famous Kinrin Lake in Yufuin Onsen. Kinrin Lake is located at the foot of Yufudake. Its original name was "Takehon Ike" or "Takege Ike. In 1884, a Confucian scholar named Mokurei Kuso, named it "Kinrin Lake" when he saw the golden fish scales shining in the sunset at the lake. Kinrin Lake has a diameter of approximately 400 meters and a depth of 2 meters. Hot springs flow from the west of the lake bottom and clear water flows from the east. Beppu Hell - Umi Jigoku" Beppu is the hot spring area with the largest water output in Japan. When visiting Beppu, you can't miss the tour of the hells. The "Umi Jigoku" among the eight hells is the largest and was formed when Mt. Tsurumi erupted 1,200 years ago. The pool water is a mysterious porcelain blue. The seemingly cool seawater is actually a hot spring with a temperature of 98 degrees.

There are many hot springs in the Beppu area, and most of them are called " hell. Among them, the most famous are the eight hell hot springs in Beppu, named Umi Jigoku,Oniishi bouzu jigoku, Yama Jigoku, Kamado Jigoku, Oniyama Jigoku, Shiraike Jigoku, Chinoike Jigoku, and Tatsumaki Jigoku. Kamado Jigoku is one of them.
It is said that from a long time ago, during the spring and autumn festivals of the Hachimangu Shrine of Kamado, the festival food was made using the temperature of hell. This custom became known as "Kamado Jigoku". The violent jets and the gushing of high-temperature hot springs create a temperature of 90 degrees.

Great memories, good price
This app made it super easy to reserve a space and time for our trip to NYC. We usually take the train, but needed a car this time. I usually hate looking for parking, so I tried to find a garage near our hotel. When I found that there was one just a block away I went to their website and saw that they had this app. It was super easy to set up and I found a space and was able to adjust the time and complete my transaction from creating an account to having a full parking space reservation in about five minutes. Unfortunately I ended up having to cancel my trip about a week early so I requested a refund and it was instant with no hassle. I think in general, from now on I’ll just use this app to see if there are other parking garages by the same owner, and reserve spaces in those (if I ever have to bring a car back to NYC - I still like the train better). The only 2 things things that I would wish for are: 1. That they had an option to add the parking pass to your Apple Wallet so I just need to bring up a code on my phone when I get there and they scan it. 2. They allowed you to add a previously booked guest reservation to your current account. I started on the web with the reservation and then got the app and wanted to add the reservation to the app, but couldn’t. I kept the app and will now use it from now on instead of checking out as a “guest” from now on. Overall, a great app.
