Visit the South Rim Grand Canyon National Park and travel the entire length of Desert View Drive, approximately 23 miles. Take in breathtaking canyon views and the best viewpoints. Our local, certified adventure guides will share hidden gems and first-hand knowledge of this natural world wonder.
You'll make several stops along the South Rim where the scenery changes with the weather and time of day, ensuring that you never see the same view twice. Learn about plants, animals, geology and how the canyon was formed while traveling to Yavapai Point. Your guide will bring the history of the Grand Canyon to life with tales of its native peoples, adventurous explorers and early tourists.
Enjoy the canyon breeze as you ride along Desert View Drive in a custom, heated Jeep Wrangler to Navajo Point. At an elevation of 7,500 feet, Navajo Point is the highest overlook along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy epic panoramic vistas to the west and a great view of the Desert View Watchtower.
Peer below to see the Colorado River rapids, trails and buttes while your guide explains their significance. If you’re looking for a quiet moment to reflect, linger here while overlooking the tilted canyon layers of the Supergroup. This formation is only visible from a few areas along the South Rim.
Be sure to capture photos of the Desert View Watchtower to the east and towering rock spires against the sky. Each tour party will receive a free DVD* of the IMAX Movie, "Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets" to take home and enjoy.
Re-entry to the Grand Canyon National Park requires the purchase of a park pass.

What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals
Other important information
- Due to IMAX theater renovations from Oct. 3 until early 2023, each tour party will receive a FREE IMAX Movie DVD.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Car seats are provided by Pink Jeep Tours for children 2 to 4 years old.
- Tour size minimum is 2 passengers.
- Pink Jeep Tours reserves the right to alter, modify or cancel any tour due to weather, unsafe conditions or National Park Service request.
- For the comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow cigarettes, e-cigarettes, alcohol, firearms, or drones on any of our tours.
- Sunscreen and hats are recommended.
- Weather can change quickly at the Grand Canyon. Be prepared with warm layer options.
- Bring bottled water. Bottled water is available to purchase at the National Geographic Store or refill your personal bottle at fill stations located throughout the Grand Canyon Park.
- While out of the tour vehicle, please watch your step and feel free to ask your guide for assistance. You are responsible for your safety on public land.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes and outdoor clothing.
- For your safety, no food or glass containers on tour.
- Pink Jeep Tours does not allow guests who are pregnant to take our off-road tours.
