Dazaifu Tenmangu - The main shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning (about 90 minutes, free time for activities).
Dazaifu Tenmangu enshrines the well-known god of learning, Sugawara no Michizane. It is the main shrine among approximately 12,000 Tenmangu shrines in Japan and the largest shrine in Kyushu. Many tourists from both home and abroad come to visit.
Besides the vermilion-colored main hall and surrounding gardens, there are many historical buildings in Dazaifu Tenmangu, such as Tenkai Inari Shrine, Treasure Hall, and Sugawara History Museum. There are various seasonal landscapes. There are broad-leaved thick-shell trees and camphor trees listed as natural monuments, as well as plum blossoms, iris flowers, etc. that bloom beautifully in succession. The plum blossoms of Sugawara no Michizane were her favorite, and the plum blossom pattern is featured on the shrine's crest, making the plum blossom season particularly special. Among them, the Flying Plum sacred tree, located directly to the right of the main hall, is well-known. Legend has it that this plum tree flew from Kyoto to Dazaifu overnight because it missed Sugawara no Michizane.
Throughout the year, there are numerous festivals and events held, showcasing the rich history that has lasted for over 1,100 years.
Passing exams is closely related to learning. Japanese students often visit the shrine before exams to pray for passing the exams and having a successful school career. Shrine office accessories can be purchased on the side of the main hall. During the exam season, the torii gates at the shrine are filled with ema, which is a breathtaking sight.
At the Dazaifu branch of "Ichiran Ramen", there is a Dazaifu-limited "five-grid bowl" with the same pronunciation as "pass" in Japanese.
There are numerous popular snack and gift shops on both sides of the approach road to Dazaifu, and all small shops are worth visiting. Specifically, the "ume mochi" must be tasted. The sticky outer skin and red bean filling are sweet but not greasy and definitely worth a try.

Nyoirinji Frog Temple - The sound of the wind chimes carrying wishes echoes in the temple (about 40 minutes, free time for activities).
Nyoirinji Frog Temple is said to have been built by the renowned Japanese monk Gyoki in the Nara period. It enshrines the Nyoirin Kannon and blesses the wishes of those who come to pray for its success. It is also a designated cultural property in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Nyorin-ji Temple is famous under the nickname "Frog Temple. It is said that the abbot here brought a jade frog from China, and since then, various frogs have been set up one after the other. There are now around 10,000 frog ornaments.
Additionally, you can enjoy the different scenic views of the four seasons here, such as cherry blossoms and hydrangeas in spring, maple leaves in autumn, and greenery in summer.
Especially during the summer, thousands of "wind chimes" wishing to spend the summer safely are decorated in the temple. The sight of the colorful paper strips swaying in the wind chimes is very dreamlike.
The sound is cool and helps to dissipate the summer heat.
There are also unique "frog amulets" for sale here, and the design is very cute.
※ In the temple, each wind chime sells for 500 yen. Please write down your wish and offer it in the temple. You can't take it back. The decoration period for wind chimes lasts from June 1st to September 30th every year.
14:00 Oita
Yufuin Onsen (about 140 minutes in total, free time for activities, lunch fees are at your own expense).
Yufuin Onsen" is voted the number one tourist destination for Japanese girls. Yufuin Onsen is surrounded by mountains, giving it a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, making people feel incredibly relaxed. Additionally, the many delicious dessert shops in Yufuin Onsen drive many women crazy.
You can savor the beautiful scenery and satisfy your taste buds, completely enveloping you with happiness. There are also many cafes in the area. You can also find a cafe that you like, sit down and have a cup of coffee to enjoy your leisurely time.
The "sightseeing carriage" at Yufuin Onsen started over 30 years ago, has now become a well-known and popular sightseeing spot in Yufuin. The route begins in front of JR Yufuin Station, passes through Fuzan-ji Temple and Unagi Hime Shrine, and returns to the station. The entire journey takes about 60 minutes. The horses sway in the breeze. Viewing the beautiful rural scenery with Yufudake as the background, the mind will gradually relax and get rid of daily stress.
Yunotsubo Street is located at the foot of Yufudake. There are souvenir shops selling Oita specialties such as yuzu pepper and restaurants serving local delicacies such as fried chicken tempura on both sides of the street, and tourists are in an endless stream. Additionally, the area near the Oita River, one street away, is a great walking destination. Here, you can experience the beauty of the four seasons and the unique rural atmosphere of Yufuin.
【Kinrinko Lake】
Finally, we come to the most famous Kinrinko Lake in Yufuin. Kinrinko Lake is named "Takehonchi" or "Takegeshita-ike" because it is located at the foot of Yufudake. But in 1884, a Confucian scholar, Mokurei Kuso, named it "Kinrinko Lake" when he saw the golden fish scales shining in the setting sun at the lake. Kinrinko Lake has a diameter of 400 meters and a depth of 2 meters. Hot springs flow from the west of the lake bottom and clear water flows from the east. The temperature difference between the hot springs and clear water makes the water surface foggy and presents a beautiful and mysterious fairyland as the temperature drops. It is a very mysterious lake. There is "Tenso Shrine" beside Kinrinko Lake. The torii standing on the lake shore seems to float on the water. The mist creates a hazy beauty and adds a mysterious color, creating an imaginary space. When you visit Yufuin, you should take a walk along Kinrinko Lake to experience its charm.
When spring comes, the cherry blossoms on both sides of the Oita River will bloom. Under the blue sky and white clouds, with Yufudake as the background, the light pink cherry blossoms and the rapeseed flowers on both sides are incredibly beautiful, adding more color to the spring here.

This app made it super easy to reserve a space and time for our trip to NYC. We usually take the train, but needed a car this time. I usually hate looking for parking, so I tried to find a garage near our hotel. When I found that there was one just a block away I went to their website and saw that they had this app. It was super easy to set up and I found a space and was able to adjust the time and complete my transaction from creating an account to having a full parking space reservation in about five minutes. Unfortunately I ended up having to cancel my trip about a week early so I requested a refund and it was instant with no hassle. I think in general, from now on I’ll just use this app to see if there are other parking garages by the same owner, and reserve spaces in those (if I ever have to bring a car back to NYC - I still like the train better). The only 2 things things that I would wish for are: 1. That they had an option to add the parking pass to your Apple Wallet so I just need to bring up a code on my phone when I get there and they scan it. 2. They allowed you to add a previously booked guest reservation to your current account. I started on the web with the reservation and then got the app and wanted to add the reservation to the app, but couldn’t. I kept the app and will now use it from now on instead of checking out as a “guest” from now on. Overall, a great app.
Bardzo dobra cena kupiłem ze sporą zniżką polecam
