Day 1: New York → Potter County Stargazing Tours
New York
This afternoon we will drive to Potter County. Follow us and enter the private stargazing area of stargazing experts to get rid of noise, crowding, and interference of dense car lights and mobile phone light sources. We will wait for the nightfall to admire the stars in the sky.
Itinerary:
New York → Potter County Stargazing Tours (180 mins, fee for private stargazing territory entrance, stargazing expert guide and professional equipment included) → Hotel
Kindly Reminder:
1. It is recommended that you check the weather forecast in advance to avoid cloudy or rainy weather.
2. Pack the right gear before you go:
a. Telescope or binoculars: Enhance the stargazing experience and allow you to see the stars more clearly.
b. Folding chairs or cushions: Provide a comfortable stargazing position and reduce the fatigue of waiting for the stars.
c. Blanket: Guarantee a warm and comfortable stargazing environment.
d. Food: Bring some drinking water and food.
e. Mosquito spray: Avoid mosquito bites.
f. Flashlight or headlamp: Provides illumination for easy movement in the dark.
g. Appropriate attire: Choose appropriate clothing according to the weather forecast, including warm jackets, hats, and windbreakers.

Potter County Stargazing Tour operates on private property a short distance from Cherry Springs State Park, Pennsylvania's only Dark Sky Park. We're located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds Region, an area internationally known to have some of the darkest skies east of the Mississippi. Our tours offer the ultimate stargazing experience with an unobstructed 360 degree view of the night sky without any artificial light pollution. When you look up for the first time, you'll think you can reach up and touch the Milky Way. You'll be astonished by the amount of visible stars you'll see during our 2 hour tour. Today we will head to Bushkill Falls known as the “Niagara of Pennsylvania.” In addition to the main waterfall, there are seven other waterfalls on the grounds. This unique series of eight waterfalls, nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains, is accessible through an excellent network of hiking trails and bridges which afford fabulous views of the falls and the surrounding forest. After a pleasant trip, we will return to New York.

- Food and beverage (Tour guide will arrange. About breakfast: usually guests can prepare in advance or have breakfast at the first attraction/the nearest store from the hotel);
- Any personal expenses are not listed in Fee Included.

What if you miss the appointed time or departure date?
Once the booking is confirmed, an absence or failure to show up on the scheduled date or time is a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be issued for no-shows and late arrivals

- The itinerary will be subject to traffic, departure date, and weather, etc.
- This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction.
- A valid photo ID is required to board the bus. Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
- Smoking is prohibited aboard the bus in accordance with Federal law and prohibited in all hotel rooms.
- Concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic,some recreations areas are temporially closed. The tour guide will arrange the itinerary.
- Please arrive at the departure point 15 minutes before the scheduled time and follow the arrangement of a tour escort.
- Please arrange your drop off point same as departure point, drop off at different point may not work.

Great memories, good price
This app made it super easy to reserve a space and time for our trip to NYC. We usually take the train, but needed a car this time. I usually hate looking for parking, so I tried to find a garage near our hotel. When I found that there was one just a block away I went to their website and saw that they had this app. It was super easy to set up and I found a space and was able to adjust the time and complete my transaction from creating an account to having a full parking space reservation in about five minutes. Unfortunately I ended up having to cancel my trip about a week early so I requested a refund and it was instant with no hassle. I think in general, from now on I’ll just use this app to see if there are other parking garages by the same owner, and reserve spaces in those (if I ever have to bring a car back to NYC - I still like the train better). The only 2 things things that I would wish for are: 1. That they had an option to add the parking pass to your Apple Wallet so I just need to bring up a code on my phone when I get there and they scan it. 2. They allowed you to add a previously booked guest reservation to your current account. I started on the web with the reservation and then got the app and wanted to add the reservation to the app, but couldn’t. I kept the app and will now use it from now on instead of checking out as a “guest” from now on. Overall, a great app.
